If your life is going to matter and you are going to go the distance, your heart has to be in it.  Skill and talent matter, but never underestimate the value of heart. 
We have recently been watching the Winter Paralympic games and are totally in awe at the way these dedicated athletes have overcome huge obstacles to represent their sport and country at the highest level.. Tonight an awesome gold medal for a young kiwi slalom skier !!

When your heart is in it, you’ll do anything.
When your heart is in it, you’ll go anywhere.
When your heart is in it, you’ll give everything.
When your heart is in it, it’s never an obligation.

Acts 13:22 says,‘I have found David son of Jesse, a man after my own heart; who will do all My will .’
God is still looking for people in the 21st century who have a heart after Him and will commit to whatever He calls us to do…
More barriers have been broken, more championships have been won, and more obstacles have been overcome through heart than skill.

Our calling into the business world, into the job you do, into the roles you play are always best acheived when it is a matter of the heart!  When our hearts are in tune with God’s heart and the calling on our lives, we will discover the ‘rest’ of God, being the deep satisfaction of work as worship, and success as godly blessing.

A toxic heart leads to a toxic life, a divided heart leads to a divided life etc.  But a joyful heart leads to a joyful life and a love-filled heart leads to a loving life. And if your heart is steadfast, your life will be committed and abundant!
‘Above all else, guard your heart, for it determines the course of your life’
