This last week I have just been overwhelmed with God’s answer to prayer. As I see the prayer requests each day, and the praise points – it is so encouraging to know that God is working for us! If you have any questions about the Business Edge Prayer System, please get in touch.

I was privileged to spend a day praying and fasting with one of our members recently, at their place of work. During this time we really sought the Lord and while our instinct was to come to him with a list, we felt that we needed to focus on that authentic relationship with Jesus Christ – and letting everything else come out of that relationship.

“Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

We often ask – “Lord, what is Your will?” As the scripture above tells us, there are three things we need to do:

  • Rejoice always
  • Pray continually
  • Give thanks in all circumstances

It may sound easy, but as we’ve all experienced, when times are tough, it may be that much more difficult to rejoice! But Trust in the Lord – that he will meet you, wherever you are right now.

On another note, can you please uphold Clarkie & Coralie in prayer this coming Friday, as Coralie is heading into hospital for a few days. These guys have sown into so many of our lives so we pray for protection and healing in the name of Jesus!

Thought for the week – Time out!

Meet Zara! She’s our 14 week old border collie puppy and we took this photo a couple ofFriday’s ago as Carrie-Anne and I took some time off to spend with each other.

Once we dropped the kids at school, we headed to the beautiful Mount (in the background!) beach and spent about 3 hours walking and running along the beach. I was just in awe of how beautiful this world is!

One of the things that God really put on my heart on this day, was our intimacy with Him. Relationships are so important in life, and none more than the relationship we with have with our creator and Heavenly Father.

So – can you put yourself in “time out” this week? Maybe it’s not 3 hours and maybe it’s not the beach, but where do you feel God asking you to meet him? Book in that time in your diary now and go on a date with God!

Have a blessed week!
