Momentum is described by the dictionary as “the strength or force that allows something to continue to grow stronger or faster as time passes.”

Running a business is hard. It requires a great amount of energy to achieve real results.  It also takes time, money, intellect, spiritual focus and perseverance to truly succeed. The early stages of business should demand more from us then the later–that is, if we are pointing in the right direction!

Successful businesses are those who, over time, are able to increasingly generate better results while proportionally exerting less energy.

All great organizations must reach a point of exponential growth if they are to ever reach their God-given potential.

Momentum happens when a business passes a “tipping point.” Think of the natural momentum of a newly-planted seedling; it will require extra care and energy as it begins to grow, but with each passing season, wise pruning, fertilizing and care, it will produce a greater yield with less proportional energy.

Greatness cannot be achieved without reaching the point of momentum. Achieving momentum in a kingdom business requires the following:

  • A clear call and mission.
  • A clearly defined vision and focus.
  • A willingness to sacrifice.
  • Spiritual engagement & alignment to Biblical principles
  • The right team
  • A clear strategy with built-in rewards and accountability.
  • A wise and effective use of technology.
  • Contagious enthusiasm for the cause

Wherever you are in your entrepreneurship journey, know that God can do the impossible and enable you to reach momentum.

“Remember the Lord your God. He is the one who gives you the power to be successful.” Deut 8:18
